front bumper

hi my front bumper is out of line with the wing it was resprayed by the dealer just before i got it. just got a haynes manual and looked at the how2. now the manual says you take out the top screw a push in the sliding bumper bracket to remove do you think if i take out the top screw and push the bracket in this would align top top piece? or will i have to remove it further?

Yep, undo the top torx screw in the wheel arche, pull out and reset, it does sometimes need a good bit of force required to clip it in. There is a possibility that the gargae have broke the clips when they did the respray. hth

good i,ll give it a try if its a broken clip i,ll take it back. 7 months its annoying me now

sorted the bit next to the bumper still a little bit out on the headlight joint

Do you mean there is a very slight gap as the bumper goes around under the headlight?

yes and no the join between the front part of the wing beside the underside of the headlamp
