how can someone else mess up your ranks

i was playing cod mw2 last night on the ps3 when a french fella started mouthing off to me and he started team killing so i just played onbut then the game started messin up and when he head shot 1 of the other team they all died with head shots so i left the game....

when i was it the lobby waiting for another game to start red writing came up on the bottom of the screen in french saying his name and something about D-rank so now ive got no kills no deaths still the same rank with all my weapons but when i kill someone it does not show up on th leader board whats going on.... the next game i played i got 31 kills no deaths and 3 helicopters what has he done will i have to make a new psn id or what do i do

Must of been a private lobby (Hack lobby) and the guy used hack files on you to reset your rank

You entered a " Modded Lobby " he prob asked you to leave in french and you didnt understand, if he was admin to the lobby then he would charge folk for joining, you prob didnt pay , he got annoyed and ****ed about with your stats,

Need to be careful, have u been de-ranked or just your stats messed up ?

i still have my rank 49 and all weapons everything else has been reset but some of the time i dont show up on the leader board

If INf and or PS see that the leaderboards have been " amended " they will remove you, possibly your emblem will have disappeared also, you could spoeak to PS and see if they can return your acc to a previous state

i went on the ps3 last night and for a change thought i would play modern warfare 2... wot a mistake every game is now hacked you get all perks and ranked up to next prestige, it was a complete farce , how they are getting away with it is wrong
