The vxr is going.

Well after 4 years of vec vxr ownership I have decided to sell,It is getting swapped for a audi A4 DTM from keithley car trade center which the wife will drive as the family car.I was becoming disinterested about driving the vec as the rattling was becoming a pain.also not being able to put the power down without spinning.I was hoping to progress onto the insignia vxr but it was really not for me.

I started to look at vag cars and found the Audi s4 bi-turbo with ko4 conversion I had a ride in one and was blown away by the gut wrenching power it actually put on the road, so this is the car im now on the look out for.

Any hoo I got 6k part x for the vec a loss of 12k over 4 years it has 51k on it is in good nick and well serviced, Im just saying this so anyone else wondering the value has some idea.

While at Keithley car trade center I had a look around a black vxr8 with blower and wow it was well nice so I might be coming back over to vx oneday.

It will be odd not flashing and giving a little wave to the vxr's coming the other way so if you see a wierdo waving at you in an old audi s4 it might be me.

careful about getting owt from there bud, heard a lot of bad things and been in - to say their stock was rough was an understatement - unless its been traded in then you should be ok!

Googled them to see if your new car was still on their site, think you want to take a closer look buddy, from a basic Google search I think id be walking away. Have you done an HPI check on the car your looking at? Id defiantly be asking to see the V5 and see if you could contact the previous owner too.

I've looked at a couple of cars from this outfit and they were rough to say the least, 6k for the vxr doesn't sound much to me. Be careful bud!
