oil flush is just a very thin oil i think, fill it up with very thin oil, run it and drain it back out then ill up with correct weight oil... or thats what i was led to believe anyway lol

They told me i needed that too. Someone recommended i didn't have it. I got 88000 miles on and it was suggested that any oil deposits that had built up, if dislodged could cause more harm than good. Better spend 35 quid on something nicer!

usually it's something like Forte products thats used and all they do is put a can of fuel addative in the tank and a can of oil flush in the engine before draining the old oil, run the engine till its hot, then drain the oil and refill. Basically they do it as there is over 100% profit to be made on these items for the dealer at the point of sale and in most cases they also get a monthly kickback cheque from the supplier.

I see no point in getting it done, waste of money. All they want is extra cash from u.

You will be surprised just how well the CDTI's respond to having there filters and oil changed.
