    Default Vectra B - Any ideas on this problem?

    Considering getting this motor and it starts and runs fine, but cuts out after a while. They reckon fuel pump.

    Is it going to be mega money for a fuel pump on a 2.0 Di engine? Are they hard to swap?

    Cos very tempting for a bit of a buy this

    Was kinda hoping for a pump for £50 from a breakers to be honest. DIdn't realise the cost of Diesel pumps! Do you know any recon places mate?

    I worked with a lad whose vec b fuel pump went south.......It cost him £700+ to get the work done.....

    Cheers BobbyBoy.

    Gonna steer clear. Spoke to a breakers yard last night and they said the engine is bombproof. Unfortunately everything else that is connected to it isn't Fuel pumps, EGRs, electrics etc. etc.

    Shame...
