was sat outside maccy d's and herd a we rasp. went to mcconechys to see what was up. front y pipe is blowing from the fron flex joint £300 quid plus vat!
and its blowing from the y piece at the back between the 2 boxes. thats ok tho reson to get a stainless! but is 300 quid the going rate for a front y pipe?

Yeah dealer only part is the front section mate. Although i was quoted nearer £400 for it. Take it to an exhaust shop this is what everyone does when the flexi goes, it cost me £60 for a new flexi section supplied and fitted. Old one cut out new one welded in.

gonna way up the 2, turriff tyres - powerflow or simons exhausts. sure both will sort out my system. just go for the full stainless hog! and my repair, gonna prob be 500 quid lighter tho

I recommend Turriff Tyres had quite a few exhausts done with them! Had a quote from them for flexy and it was£80 my old man did it for £20 but he retired at Xmas

I've used RJM & sons in Glenrothes, they seemed very efficient and made a tidy job when adapting my Irmscher box.

They even painted the stainless section that they put on so it would match the irmy box

I went to the one in Glenrothes and they were about £400 more than turf Tyres for the same system and they told me they could only make it a tiny bit louder than standard! They quoted£600 for exhaust, £350 for down pipes and to replace the flex for Mot as a temp job £180 turf Tyres £620 including temp repair of flexi
