    Default Squeeky clutch Pedal

Its dooin me nut in, the slightest pressure applied to the pedal and it groans, not loud just its like there and stops as soon as its depressed to change gear. its just like the first 2" of travel. Is there a simple solution or am i looking at new parts???

To be fair i havent looked under the console yet or sprayed anything, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

VX have been famous for it for years lol... a bit of spray grease down under the dash on the linkage etc will sort it out for a while

Will try the grease method. Got the same problem. Will reply once attempted.

    Holden never offered a recall.

I finally cured it!!! it's the spring rubbing against the plastic retainer, bit of grease and rotate the spring with you fingers, all quiet

When I bought my Mk3 Cav I pushed the clutch pedal, and it creaked. The salesman was quick to tell me that he'd get it sorted. I replied that if he stopped the pedal squeaking, I'd walk away from the car, cause I'd be worried that there was something wrong with it.
