    Default 3.0v6 cdti- any good?

Am thinking of changing my 150 cdti in the next couple of months either for a newer one as im more than happy with it or a 3.0 v6. Mine currently has a tuning box fitted am just wondering how much more power the 3.0 has and what sort of mpg you get?

    Thanks

I've learned my lesson with the Vectra DTi...never sell a car you're happy with. No matter what.

    Follow my advice mate.

been told the 3.0 cdti aint as reliable as the 1.9 but dunno the facts. wouldnt mind a remapped 3.0. with that engine it should really be RWD lol.

Vehicle : Insignia 2.0L CDTI SRI hatchback

    Thumbs up

Brings back a whole new meaning of "motoring fun", i have a standard 3.0L CDTI vec c. It goes like "stink" with powerful standing starts and loads of mid range pulling power, with more of a progressive top end. I have taken mine to 130 mph, but i think it would not do much more than this 140 mph???......

I too drive a 3.0CDTi and it hit 146mph on a level road in Germany. At 206,100km (128k miles) at the moment and it's running fine. Returns great mpg and is great fun to drive

Can't fault the good old Signum

Mine is a standard manual Y30DT Signum She's got quite a few miles behind her. It's got 128k on the clock but someone clocked 15k So it's actually on 143k

Mine's quite happy to accelerate from 125-135mph...after that it's finished and gains speed like a snail

Are you sure your car is fine? Because I've seen a Vec Estate Auto Y30DT hit 145 easily

Mine as 87k miles on the clock, i am pretty sure this is original as it started off as a London Metropolitan Police car. Its great up to 100 > 110 mph, then it seems to want to build up speed slowly after this....
