    Default Code Reader

Hi, I'm thinking about getting this code reader to diagnose a few warning lights my car has. Has anyone used this code reader or something similar?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/CAN-Bus-Trou...f=pd_cp_auto_1

Don't want to buy it then find out it doesn't work with my car as I gather some of the older diesels weren't completely OBD complaint.

    Its for a 2002 2.2Dti Vectra C

    cheers

Don't waste your money if it's specifically for the 2.2 DTi! There's a 90% chance it won't work. They're very picky on what they'll talk to.

Please note this feedback on Amazon:-

U480 Waste of money if you own a Vauxhall,Saab or any GM made car, 9 Sep 2009

This review is from: U480 CAN-Bus OBDII OBD2 EOBD Trouble Code Read Diagnose Tester Diagnostic Scanner
The U480 will not read any car made by parent company General Motors. I have a 2002 Saab 93 which like all GM cars requires the GM Tech II computer to read faults. I have had three different engine light faults and all the U480 displays is "N/A 01/01" for every fault. The instruction manual states that a N/A code means "The monitor is not supported on that vehicle". The product decription is misleading as this scanner will not work on the vehicles that it describes.
