    Default Anyone used Delta Airlines?

    As title says.
The wife & I will be flying out to Houston, Texas later in the year to visit my sister. I've been pricing return flights online & they're the cheapest by a good bit.
Has anyone used this airline (I may be wrong but I'm assuming they're an American airline as any reviews I could find were for internal flights in the USA - which they didn't score to high in).
    Has anyone flown with them?

A typical American airline, generally staffed by miserable old women and bitter gay men (with apologies to any folks with those leanings).
Any requests for anything will be met with total indifference.
Or that's how they used to be.
They'll get you there, but don't think it's their job to make you happy. Most American airlines are the same ,and make EasyJet look good.

    Ok cheers
Do you think it'll be worth paying an extra £140 to go with BA ?

Any time my parents have flown out they've used KLM or air France. They said they wouldnt use air France again though. KLM are dearer than BA who are dearer than Delta.

BA will get you there and look after you. Delta will get you there. If you think it's worth £140, then go for it!

And to add that there are no tv screens on headrests showing videos so be ready to look into space/darkness and get bored throughout the journey. It's like flying in easyjet/flybe/bmi locally.

I'm a little biased as I'm a crew member for BA, but I'd pay the extra every time!

Every seat on BA aircraft has an individual video screen, most have audio/visual on demand so you can choose what the watch and when, plus unlimited free booze (within reason).

I also like to think BA staff will look after you a hundred times better than most American crews...

If "eye candy" is important, then get the cheaper flights with Delta and use the £140 you saved to pay for half a dozen lapdances at Spearmint Rhino before you go...

According to my sister Delta, Air France & KLM have merged. She says anytime her pals have came out they've booked with Delta & it's been an Air France or KLM plane theyve flown on.
