    Default Steve Irwin

just heard he's died from an attack from a Stingray of all things while diving what is it with this world? good ppl who do productive things continually get shafted while those that I personally would rather didn't breath the air anymore seem to prosper on with a protective shield around them.

I really liked this guy, he was one of those ppl who could bring you out of the glum just by being on the tv with his smile and boy like ways, so I'll be having one for him tomorrow night in recognition of what I think was a great man

    It's very sad news indeed.

We went to see him at Austalia Zoo last year and he really was a top bloke.

Will be much missed but hopefully the outstanding work he has started will be continued.

That is a shame, he was a guy who pushed his luck to the limits, guess he died doing what he loved doing, feel sorry for his family , especiaaly his young kid who now hasn`t a father ....

I have massive respect for this guy - he did a top job for animals, bringing them to the attention of millions, I'm sure most of us have learnt something from this guy (and I don't mean not swimming with stingrays!)

God bless him and his family - but I'm sure they'll still take pride in what he's done...

He was a great bloke, he did push his luck but it's still unexpected & shocking news.

As you guys say, its his family you feel sorry for.

We were shocked to hear this news, the bloke was a legend and provided loads of entertainment while also educating.

Yes he will be sadley missed by everyone. He had something special as he could reach out to all ages and make you feel like you knew him.He was great as he really cared for every animal no matter even if they tried to kill him.Well he died doing something that he loved and cared about.I feel sorry for his family but Im sure they will carry on his great work which is what he would have wanted.
