    Default 55 plate SRI 120 CDTI WINING NOISE

    Hey Guys

    anyone know if its normal for a wining noise in the 120 sri cdti at about 60+ mph?

    also how do you remove the the gear knob insert on the facelift SRI?

    help??? alternator went had it replaced and still wining like an electric car????

    The aux belt could be too tight, or the bearings in new alt ain't no good, or the bearings in water pump ain't no good, or some thing else lol...
    best thing to do is get some one to hold the revs down for you while you get your head under the bonnet & get an idea of the area the noise is coming from matey.
