    Default samsung or toshiba ??

Still deciding on a upgrade LCD TV. Was looking at a 42" LG but there doesn't seem to be to much connection ports on it. So ive seen a 40" samsung and 40" toshiba for the same kind of money £399. Just wondering what opions are on these TVs. Im slightly persuaded to the toshiba as it comes with HD freeview. ??

I thought most sets came with HD freeview these days...

What are you planning on connecting up to it? PS3, xbox etc?

    here is your friend
    http://www.hdtvorg.co.uk/

It's one of the best sites I've ever read. Totally independant reviews and advice, including set-ups, and even how to tell what factory your tv is made (original or OEM)

Personally i'd never have anything samsung again, had a 42" plasma which went wrong just after a year,(samsung repair dept. didnt want to know, just referred me to a local rip off repair agent, £99 to collect tv!) had it repaired via yellow pages, then something else went on it, bought a dvd/surround sound, same time, again samsung, it got more and more "choosey" about what discs it played, eventually not playing any!
Bought LG lcd, never had any trouble with it (touch wood), will buy LG again.
Hope this helps your decision m8

I have a 40" Toshiba with all that connected except my SS is Yamaha, I also have my PC in there and still have spare ports. It has dedicated game and PC inputs. The screens by the way are made by Sony.
