    Default Exhaust on vectra estate

Hi all I currently have my dpf removed and pre cat removed so the only thing left in the system is my rear silencer. This on the estate is very big and pretty heavy I would like to remove this and fit just a straight through bit of pipe in it's place

Would this effect my insurance and also would
It effect the mot in any way and also would the noise be increased at all or will it sound stupid if I have no boxes at all on it.

Also where could I get the pipe made from I just want mild steel nothing fancy as you can't see it anyways and I could just bolt it on and it's done thanks hope you guys can help and also a rough price on the pipe I would need

You'll get a slight increase in noise, not a lot. You should tell your insurance about all mods. Mot not affected. Any exhaust builder will do it and it shouldn't cost more than £100. £300 could have you a full straight through stainless. Did you ditch the DPF, or just drill it? An extra £100 could have you a Scorpion pre-cat de-cat to stop the gasses bouncing around in an empty standard pre-cat.

I just drilled out the insides of the dpf so just a empty can sitting there at the moment I might remove my back box and jut leave the mid section in and supported to see what it sounds like
