Id be careful of all the electrical item if your going to jet wash. I did mine back last summer and I just went round the out side.

Oh god yes!!!! Nothing worse than seeing a good looking car that someone has spent time , effort and money on and they pop the bonnet to see its covered in grim, oil and crud.

yes its worth it , how are going to know whether or not you have an issue say a solvent leak , oil leak if your car engine bay is just an oil pit. During last week i spotted that one of my hose connections was blowing that was only noticeable because it was blowing onto a polished surface if it had not been i doubt i would of spotted it.

I've jet washed mine with the addition of an engine cleaner, only done it once since I had it but keep the black plastics clean with autoglym.

Jet washing is no bad thing if done correctly, the engine gets a good soaking when you're on the motorway in terrential rain and still goes........ mine does anyway lol

Your better off with a degreaser and a brush then a gentle rinse off than a jet wash.
