Genuine Part Search and Autovaux are the same thing effectively.

Cheers 'Mads' was going to get modded thermostat from dealers until I saw this link...ordered and on its way :-) I'm assuming some of the hose clamps are the crimp fit type, do you know what sizes by any chance? Get new clamps and antifreeze ready to do battle, 8 valve engine so expecting fun with the egr cooler bracket.......where's my dremel lol

Would this new thermostat help with the crap starting.

My 1.9 cdti is so sluggish at starting in the mornings, ive had the glow plugs checked are are all but new.

When i remove the sensor off the thermostat the glow plug lights stays on for quite a bit longer and she starts up really well.

My temp guage reads 0 all the time and every now and then creeps up to 80 and goes back down again.

Regardless if it helps or not with the starting up it does need changing
