Thread: Why doesn't my Vectra 1.9 CDTi warm up ANSWER (mods can this be made a sticky??)

    Paid a bit more attention this morning and after 10 miles at a steady 60, the gauge reached 80 degs. I'm thinking the thermostat definately needs doing. I also assume from reading on here it should normally run at about 90 degs?

    should get up to 85-90 and stay at that when driving. It it drops when driving then the thermostat has had it

    take it mines on the way out then, this is a pic after driving 25-30mins on dual carridge way at 70mph, outside temp 6.5oc.
    on the way home sitting in traffic it did go upto 90oc

    what do you think??

    did see some people on here buying them off ebay for about £35 + postage, dont know if there gen though or any good?

    The price I got was from Autovaux. So that is genuine.

    According the OP it is the uprated part number on the link you posted.

    Genuine Part Search and Autovaux are the same thing effectively.
