Trax 03/09/06

We started Trax weekend, with Duncan and Doctor DJ (Neil) coming to stay over last night. After a few drinks and lots of talking we went to bed at 12.30am, knowing that in 4½ hours we would have to get up and get going to Silverstone. Well that 4 ½ hours passed very quickly and we started off, in the rain, to Trax, stopping on the way to wash the cars.



When we arrived at Silverstone we were met by Armoured Farmer (Micky), Pioneer (Andy), Plasma (Dean), Big Phil, Payney (Nick), Harry, Stattam (Spencer), Spencersdad (Dave), Ian T and GG (Martin) already on the stand and after discussions about the stands layout, we started putting the gazebos up, by which time the rain had stopped, the sun starting coming out and the wind got up, so the gazebos came back down again.



Later we were also joined by Vectra2.0t (Paul) and Gwen, Andyvec, Mark the Cabby, MLC (Paul) and Martyn21.




So then to go for a walk about and see some lovely cars.






There was also lots of action on the track, including several cars dropping oil all over the track, a few coming togethers and near misses. Also some bizarre sightings including a diesel transit.



Today had been another Vectra-C success and thanks to everyone who made the day great. And a big thanks to Big Phil for the BBQ.
