new headunit budget £250

be looking at getting a new headunit, but with looking thru ebay and the net the list is endless! and am at a loss and my head is spinning! can anyone reckomend something special in my pricerange cheers!

cheers, must admit the prices look tempting, but not sure i can bring my head round to buying one from them. been looking at a couple of alpines there not double din, but im not to bothered about filling the space. sound quality is the top of my list. do you any idea what the sound quality is like on these units?

iirc quite a few on here a have got some of these but expect some will be a long soon to give you an idea on quality.....

yep , got one here , I dont even use it now . Its ok for the money but not the audio quality of the high end names , the MW is virtually non existant even with an amplifier in line. Would I buy another , no I would get an alpine or Kenwood

cheers! just wat i needed to hear ALPINE!!! lol could u push me in the direction of the best for my cash in your opinion, witch would u have? to many to choose from

I have this one mate, sound quality is superb, even with standard speakers

It's a Kenwood DPX 503U

hey thats tidy! had a kenwood a while back flipdown front. the sound quality was amazing.

just looking there. the original vectra stereo aint square is it? take it i need a new surround. i do assume the cage that come with the new headunit fits the hole! lol and is that head unit compatible with the stearing controls? cheers john.
