    Default Coilovers vs Springs

    Hi Guys,

I want to lower my car, its currently on the SRI setup so I believe so all ill get outta eibachs is 15mm. I was thinking of doing shocks aswell so moved on to looking at coilovers and found these, http://www.venommotorsport.com/produ...ory=Suspension

Also like the fact the ride height can be what I want it to be not where the springs decide to settle!

Has anyone got these on a 1.8vvt? The axle weights of the coilovers don't tally up with what my car is so what effect will this have? as I cant find any coilovers with the correct axle weight unless im being blind.

Thought you guys will know more!

    Currently sits like this

    Thanks

Yeah im looking for something that lets me have what I want. I was reading through your thread looks good just fancied the ones with Koni shocks,

My 1.8 has lower weights compared to them on the site an there doesn't seem to be any other options!

tbh the best vectra set up is eibach springs and B4 dampers. coilovers have the habit of ruining the vectras ride dependant on brand.

Yeah I have seen this but also seen the minimal drop it would give aswell so I couldn't make my mind up!

Can anyone let me know what the ride is like with the FK's on?

The weight of the car is not as big an issue because you can adjust the ride height to get it too sit right and all are progreesively wound so it should be hard to hit the end stop.... Just get the closest and it will be fine.....

ive got the cheaper fks on mine and had them on a couple of months and think they are awsome and i bought them as i can adjust the height. the only thing with the ride is it can be quite bouncy on humpy roads but going into corners is brilliant car sticks to the road like its on rails.

would i swap for springs and shock setup no chance!!
