Is it possible to hit 180bhp, I know alot is possible if you have money to throw at it but curious what sort of mods can be carried out on this NA engine and roughly the sort gains your see. Have a mate with an Astra same engine and that throws out 149bhp as standard surely 30/40bhp can't be too hard to find?

30-40 BHP will be very hard to find on a normally aspirated engine - it'll cost more than it would to trade your car in against one with a more powerful engine.

Midpoint garage do a software jobby that takes the vvt up to around 165bhp.
