looking at cdti tomorrow help

hi all going to view a 2007 07 vectra sri cdti 150 auto,it has 89,000 on the clock but has a good service history,is there any way i can tell if it has had a new manifold and egr if theres no reciepts also should i be worried about the auto box as its an 07,im looking to part ex,its up for £4700
my car is a saab 9-3 vector sport,it has a full 12mths MOT,6 mths tax,9 mths warrenty left (one i purchased),has 79000 miles on the clock what should i pay maximum on top of mine,i know its abit of a hard question but even advice would be great cheers

My advice,,, keep the SAAB, why do you want to pay MORE for a car with 10k more miles on it?. If your SAAB is a 1.9 diesel, then it's very likely got the same engine as the Veccy anyway,,, I don't get it!!!

Just an example
I paid £5000 for my 60k miles 1.9 cdti elite auto,lucky for me the inlet manifold had been done 12 month's before and the alternator had been done about 2 week's before i bought the car,so far i'm happy with mine,although mine felt a bit tight because a doctor had been driving it carefully i expect,cdti's do like a bit of a thrashing,so i have read.

mines a 1.8t,same as z20net just restricted to 150bhp,i want an auto and i drove a mates cdti 150 and it has great performance and quite good econemy,and i feel like a change of car,the saab is great and will probaly miss it when its gone,the handling is great alot better than my old vec but will see what the vectra drives like tomorrow

i didnt like the look of the pre face elite,to me it really looked like a lower model but the facelift i have been looking at alot and i would not mind if i get an sri or the elite maybe even perfer the elite

can i see the swirl bar with just having the bonnet open cheers

Yes but you will have to take the plastic engine cover off and it's near the glow plugs.
