    Default Uprating headlight bulbs....???

    Hi All,

I was thinking of uprating my headlight bulbs at a small cost and was wondering if the ones on ebay are a viable option or does someone have any other ideas?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CLEAR-XENON-bu...item51972ccfcf

    Thanks as always!!!!

if you dont want to go down the hid route then the only bulb worth having is the philips xtreme power 80%. i just brought some for my v70 and i also have them in my vec,£27.85 from powerbulbs.com that includes free delivery and sidelight bulbs, ask them if you can swap the free sidelight bulbs to the philips blue vision bulbs, they are a blue bulb but the light they emit is true white.i ordered mine at 11.30am on thursday and the postie handed them to me friday morning.

yes powerbulbs.com if i meant the ebay sites i would of said them.from previous experience the osrams were less effective and failed after only 11 months.yes the osram bulbs are cheaper off ebay but the better bulb and the best deal comes from powerbulbs, like i said above free delivery next day and free blue vision sidelights worth £10 that will replace the yellow sidelights at no extra cost.hth

TBH fella, i know there's pro's & Con's - some people love them, some people hate them.

But if i was you, i'd go for 5k or 6k HID's. I've just fitted some 55W 6k HID and the vision compared to normal bulbs is unreal, defo worth the spend.

People get put of HID's because of the xpense, i've bought a kit of a dealer on another site for £50 and it works a treat.

    Hope this helps

I bought exactly that set, 4300k, and sorry but they are rubbish. Hids are the only way to go imo.
