Hi, We got a 2.0ltr Turbo SRI 2008 model which is difficult in snow and wet weather, seen on here before about adding a traction control switch, just wondering if plugging a switch in will give me what i want
Thanks

Think it was only V6 facelifts that had traction control unless you have IDS+
Do you have TC and you want to switch it off, or do you not have TC and you want to turn it on. On snow mine always gets turned off as a good pair of feet is always better at getting traction on snow than an Vectra TC LOL.
Nah, no button and tons of spin, i got it on my Astra VXR and although sometimes its annoying i can actually drive it better than the wifes veccy in the snow, but i have the added bonus of it coming off when sport button is activated (yippekayah) lol even though its running wider tyres.
I just heard that if you brought a switch and plugged it in on the dash it would/ could activate the TC.
All Pre face lift Vec except 1.8 had TC. You could fit a switch on some that will turn it off. TC was dropped as a standard fit on the Facelift unless as Byebyeitsagsi (you really need to change your username mate LOL) said you have a V6 or you ticked the option box and had IDS+ fitted.
Amen for the Pre Facelift. Its one of the many reasons I never feel jealous of the facelift.
