    Hi mate,
Possibly could be the ARB bushes, mine had been knocking for ages but changed them last week, great job now and only couple of quid each.

I had to do mine recently, and even tho at Vx they took the Reg Number, the bushes came up wrong, and I had to take 'em back. There are three sizes I think, 17, 18 and 19mm and this is to do with the diameter of your anti roll bar. You'll either have to get a caliper guage and measure the dia or take the old ones off, then you'll see the number embossed in the rubber somewhere! You might be able to do so with the bush in situ if you're agile and have good neck muscles and a bright torch!

    He has replaced them already.

I had a similar problem, replaced the uca's to no avail. Got both rear dampers and anti-roll bar bushes done and problem solved. Plus the car is a lot nicer to drive. Hope it's something simple.

as above, ive done the uca, and ive noticed another problem since yesterday. I replaced the rear tyres as the insides were worn from the knackered uca and now the back end feels really unstable going around bends, and the knocking seems more aparent

think im gonna have to get a suspension check done :-(
