    Default Heaters again

    update change water cleaned all matrix out gettin warm air now not red hot but the car temp seems to got to 90 then 85 and 80 then back to 85 could it be a thermostat thats doin that all the pipe to the matrix are red hot now

    Still stand by the hot/cold flaps being at fault.... I take it it goes to 90 only when left sitting idling? Yes you may have a faulty thermostat but that would not affect the air in the cabin to that extent....

    yes the temp goes to 90 when left ideling mate was looking at the red white and blue arms and they all seem to function ok when you first drive the heaters are hot then after 10 mins the get colder but still warm

    I may be wrong... but if all other ideas have been exhausted then worth a swap over? I've got one to change on mine due to too slow to heat up to correct temp. but my heater blowers (normal aircon) are nice and hot though

    Yep replace stat, I had same problem. Take ages to get up to temp then when I turn on heaters the temp would drop. Replaced stat and cabin is loads warmer, and a noticeable difference in mpg!
