Default vectra cdti boot lettering fell off

can anybody give me any advice the letters that read vectra cdti on the boot have fallen off i noticed a couple of them where crooked so i checked the rest and they all came off. if i place them back on they stay but move about i was just wondering are they supposed to be magnetic or are they a sort of double sided tape, has anybody had this trouble and if so how did you put them back on cheers.

they are held with double sided tape, but in the cold weather, they can become less sticky and fall off.

They are held on with adhesive
Sadly with cold the adhesive shrinks, resulting in the letters falling off
Last year I lost one letter, so I removed them all so as not to lose any more

However, I had hoped to have just replaced the missing one, but it is only available as a set (for the V6 CDTI)
I then looked in eBay UK and the set (word and spec) was £26
I then went to the dealership and an entire complete set is £15, which includes the VECTRA lettering
Payment was in advance and they arrived four weeks later
I am having them reapplied once the cold weather is over

Hitcho. Scrape the old adhesive off and cut some thin strips of the tape you have to fit the letters/Nos and stick them back on after giving the chrome strip a good clean. That worked for me.

I actually prefer it with no badging!
From memory the 1.8 comes with just the VECTRA text
