shakey start up

hey guys. recently on my vectra cdxi/gsi 3.2 v6 when i start the car after a long period of time, overnight or after its sat at work all day when i start it for the first 10 seconds or so it shakes really badly and sounds likes its misfiring. but then it suddenly becomes alright i know a few of the other australian guys have the same problem but no one knows what it is. we have cleaned the throttle bodies etc, had services done, major and minor and tried pretty much evrything you could think of. have any of you guys had the same problem in england and what was the cause and the fix... any help is greatly appreciated from all the ozzy boys.

Have you tried new spark plugs?

thats the only thing we havnt done yet because the right plugs are like gold dust here in australia. we are looking into getting some sent from england though

I would give that a try and see if it solves it, thats a surprise that you cant get a suitable spark plug.

you can get them from holden but you pay massive amounts for them. like most things it actually works out cheaper to buy and ship them from england/europe than what it does to buy them in australia
