    Default How much to pay?

    Morning all..

Rear brakes are at the point where they need to be replaced. Both pads and discs.

I have seen the 20% off offered by Eurocar parts, so was considering to order the parts and then get them fitted. But. Local garage (Protyre) reckons about £75 in labour to fit them.

What sort of price should i look at to take the car to a garage and have them supply and fit rear brakes and pads?

Car is Vec C 2.0T SRi

My local place charged £20 to fit pads, disks aren't much more work so I think that's a bit expensive. I don't think they want the work if your supplying the parts as they make less money, so they have bumped the labour charge up.

Roughly an hours labour so that sounds a bit much but not that much.

I would expect to pay about £50-£60 for the rear ones to be replaced.
