i joined the site a few months ago and never got round to uploading pics of my car to show her to you all, nothing special just a standard sri 1.9cdti 120 atm. well i thought i would start a thread and show what i did tonight, not everyones taste but i think it looks good...

first here she is just after i took her for a test drive (rather dirty but that was due to vauxhall)


then here are a couple pics of what i did tonight....




thats all the pics i have for now, but so far i have added the insignia washer jets and stainless steel door sill scuff plates. im looking to do more of the interior trims in the fibre vinyl at some point soon as i thought it enhanced the look future mods include:

vxr painted v grille in anthracite
rear boot strip in anthracite
wheels refurbished and powder coated in anthracite
engine remap
air box mod and k and n panel filter
tinted wind deflectors
vxr front splitter
de-badge the rear (being done tomorrow hopefully)


any suggestions appreciated

Nice car mate . The carbonfibre looks very good. Where do you buy that?

Not a fan of the carbonfibre stuff myself (sorry).Have you thought about tinting the rear widows? think it sets a black vec off a treat.

i got it off ebay, i got an a4 sheet and the guy sent a lil bit more as a test sample, did all that for only £3.64 i think. will post a link to it
nah its not everyones cup of tea but i like it yeah want the windows tinted but been quaoted nearly £300 for them

this is the stuff i got, a bit fidly to do at first but as long as you heat it enough its easy enough to form round the edges

Very nice looking motor! I think dark wheels will give it a mean look, I too want mine powdercoated but the £££ are tight (as always)

How are you finding the 120 engine?

yeah its about £280 with all rework done to the wheels but birthday is in april so getting them done then
yeah it does me perfectly, great step up from the 1.2 sxi corsa c i had before

i've just bought a 120 sri, i'm really happy with it, pulls away enough for me, although i do find it doesn't really pick up until its in 3rd. It's pretty much identical to yours, no carbon fibre though, nice touch!
