    Default Lowering.

I am going to lower my Vectra 30mm all round. At present I think the car sits a little high, and even higher at the back end.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to whats best? - is 30mm an ok drop for this car? Its a 1.9 CDTI Executiv on 17" wheels, they are quite chunky wheels so I think it would look ok.

    Cheers

    Adam

PS any pics and tips are welcomed.

if your going -30mm then eibach is probably your best bet. i lowered my sri -45mm on pi springs but only do it if you have the sri suspension

Going 30mm is not really a problem and a compromise if in any doubt, mines on 19's but when looking at pics, the outer edge of tyre is same size as standard 17, 18 and 19's so look will be similar........heres my thread from when I fitted my Eibach -30mm on my SRi....

Looks lovely that mate...very nice, I just want it to sit nicer than it does now, because standard tehy dont look too clever when they arrent lowered. I think il drop it 30mm then and it should look cool.

Although the back of mine seems to sit higher than the front, will this still look the same when lowered.

I have the 30mm apex springs on my sri with 17's on m8 and it looks just right, any lower i would have regretted it as my splitter touches stuff at that! go for them like me!

Mine isnt an SRI tho, Every car i seem to see is an SRI...Mines an 'Exclusiv'

    whats the difference????

I think the SRI sit lower than normal anyway, well they seem to the ones i look at.

    Cheers.

In any case....30mm drop has got to bed better than what it is now. Its either that or coilovers, but there is about £200 difference in price.

Just looking at my car as it is now ...completly standard, the back end seems to sit pretty high?

If you look on ebay you can get a set of FK coilovers for around the £200 mark.
