    Default engine oil

    ive got a 1.8 52 reg vectra.would castrol gtx 10w 40 be ok.i hope so ive just got some there on offer at asda.£10 for 4 L

    How many miles on the clock do you have, I was told by a vx specialist which i very much trust that anything over 60k miles is fine to use 10w 40

    Iirc the 1.8 takes 4.5ltrs.
    10w40 will be fine in your car.
