Default just a question about the recirculation valve.

    Hy
I`v found my recirculation valve stop working....it has the toothed wheels from inside broken...
I found another one on the internet and just want to know if will fit on my LHD Signum the recirculation valve from an Vauxhall Vectra C witch is RHD (from England)...
Or I need just to put the little wheels from the good one to my recirculation valve?
    Thanks.

Perhaps you have a picture of the failing part? -Not sure what you mean with "recirculation valve" and toothed wheels inside of it...
Or perhaps you can post a link to the part on internet you are about to buy?

In general for engine parts, if the engine code is the same for your Signum as for the Vectra C you are about to buy parts from, they will most likely fit.

Aha, now I understand which part.

The motor/actuator for the Ventilation Recirculation has GM-partnumber 131920136845105 and should be the same for Signum/Vectra in LHD and RHD.

I think mine needs to be replaced.Whenever i lock/unlock the doors i hear this clicking noise for 3-4 seconds.Am i right in saying that this valve (i.e valve closes when car is locked to prevent circulation of air into car to prevent alarm being set off).Where is it located ? Is it easy to change?

Yip mines does it. Pressing Recirculation button causes the same noise too.

Apparently is it do-able but a complete pain. I had a look and there's not alot of room.

Mine was clicking on ignition so had a look today.
Couldn't get the ****** thing off.
    So I disconnected it.
The clicking has stopped and everything else seems to be working.
This won't cause any damage having it disconnected will it?
