    Default Centre dash airvents/CID removal?

    Hey guys,

When changing a centre air vent next to the CID do the vents come singley or as a pair? Also does the screen need to be disconnected and if it does would it need re-programmed upon re-fitting?

Hope someone can help cheers guys

    Default

Comes out as one unit (pair )
Screen does need to be disconnected, but will reconnect straight back in, no re-programming needed assuming its going back in the same car

there a pair - if your just disconnecting the screen and refitting it to your vehicle (matched unit) then it wont need reprogramming

pull the long trim off under the display (open the glovebox to give you a purchase point) its just clipped in then you will see the torx screws that hold the display and air vents in place

Thanks guys much appreciated. Its the VXR im buying i told them im wanting one of the vents replaced someone had broke it by using one of those air fresheners that fits onto the vent slots. Its not a VX garage so was just hoping i dont have to wait on them taking it to a dealers so thats good news.

I just hope they dont damage anything trying to work out how to get the vents off now
