Had to replace mine recently. Dealers often have them in stock. Part number for 2.0 and 2.2 DTi is 9198691. Price is £10.45 retail or£7.90 trade, both plus VAT. May have gone up a bit recently but shouldn't be by too much for such a cheap part.

That is the Vectra C DTi coolant temperature sensor part number according to Trade Club. I Googled the part number and the pictures look the same as the sensor that I got, but the do all say oil temperature sensor. Trade Club don't list the oil temperature sensor for the Vectra, but they do for the Omega and it's the same part number.

I bought one recently but can't find the receipt to confirm the part number. A dealer will be able to confirm it quickly.

How did you check this? A voltmeter between the pins of the coolant temperature sensor wiring plug with the ignition on (position 2)?
