Default Restting "One Shot" Electric Windows?

I've just had to have a new battery on my Signum, and it's lost the "one shot" electric window open/close. Is there a way I can reset it?

Just hold down the 'up' button for each window in turn for a couple of seconds. You will hear the cutout operating via a small 'clunk' noise from the window motors and this is when they re-learn where closed is.

You should then find the the one-touch open/close function is restored on all of your electric windows.

Hi James, yes there is a way. If you lower the window fully and then raise it fully again but keep your finger held on the up button for about 5 seconds it should start working again. obviously you'll have to do it for each window. I had to do it last week when over night my car lost the function on the driver side window.

    Cheers

    Howard

Edit: Damn it JAMES24 you beat me to it. Lol.

    Various methods mentioned above.

However, Porkballs suggestion is the correct one according to the handbook.

Fault:- The windows cannot be automatically opened or closed.

    Activate electronic windows as follows:
    1. Close doors.
    2. Switch on ignition.
    3. Window completely open.
    4. Close window and press on button for at least 3 seconds.
    5. Repeat for each window.
