at a guess I would say to first re check your work done when changing air filter, make sure all connections are done up properly. Especially the big hose of the air box, both ends.
Just checked, all seems ok, anything else i could check?
Just checked again and could hear air escaping, moved a hose and it appears to have snapped, its also been affecting the brakes. Will try and get a photo soon, but the pipe runs from the drivers side over to just infront of the water bootle (2.0t). Any ideas what it called?

The green arrow is where its split.
That is the brake vacuum pipe, if it is split it WILL cause idling variance and the brakes will be affected, as this pipe creates the vacuum for the brake servo to work. Temp repair with tape, but it needs changing,, pronto!!
Thanks barney, any ideas on where to get a new one and cost?
Cost i can't help with and i guess that will be a dealer part only, sorry!!!!
