    Default Screen washer help pls

Is there a non return valve inline for the front washers ?

Ive checked the pump its fine it ... it works fine on the rear wash on both ends of the pump but the front washers just dribble out after about 15 seconds of holding the stalk back ....

    Anyone help ?

After poking out the jets (assuming you have not changed to the far better Insignia 'fan' nozzles) I'd be looking to whip out the pump motor then have the rubber mounting grommet out for a good clean. At the base of the rubber grommet is a moulded filter which clogs quite nicely. Easy job.

Should of mentioned that i have the insignia washer jets and i cleaned the rubber filter.
Ive also removed the pipes from the pannel under the window and blown through them and there clear if there is a problem with the pipe it must be from the pump to the top of the wing were it joins. but i dont think its split as ive had it on in short blasts to see if it leaks on the floor and it doesnt ....

Good chance the pump is on it's last legs then.... cheap enough to replace from Halfrauds. Even a dying pump can sound like it's working ok.... the motor will be fine while the impellor will be fubar.

You'd soon notice a split hose from waster mass under the car.

Ive never blown it back towards the bottle....

the pump has 2 exits 1 for front & another for rear. Ive connected the Rear pipe to both exits and it works perfectly. but when i try the pipe for the front on either exit of the pump it doesn't work at all.

Not completely dead.... just dying (or the switching valve dying). For rear squirt it only has to pump for a single jet and that is gravity assisted once it leaves the pipe. For the front it has to shift sufficient to get past one jet to supply the other at the same time.

I always thought my Omega's screen squirt was lousy until it stopped completely. I swapped the plugs over with the headlamp pump to get me by and the jets were decent suddenly. Put a new pump in to replace the dead (now headlamp washer) pump and suddenly I find the jets actually extend before squirting. For all of the £12 (for the Omega pump about 5 years ago) it's well worth trying.

Mine did exactly the same as yours , mine turned out to be the pipe from the pump to 1st washer jet.

At the minute i'm using pipe off my aquarium as a tempory fix and it works fine
