    Default Spacers on standard SRi

    Alright guys,

Contemplating putting some spacers on my standard SRi, but its not an XP..

I was contemplating 5 on the front, and 15 - 20 on the rear, but am not sure as to what it will look like!

Chances are I will not get the car lowered and in the near future will not be replacing the wheels either as I quite like the standard SRi look and the ride comfort is good for me. I just wanted it to look a bit 'meaner' if you get what I mean?

After a search, it seems that the only people putting spacers on are those who have decked their car, or those wanting to fit Corsa VXR alloys.

Thoughts and if possible, piccies please!

Cheapest spacers i've found are on here - Delta Mics http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/fra...ges.asp?code=7

They only do 15mm and 20mm, but you can get 5mm shims for the front.

I'd do a plumb line from the inside top of your arch tho 1st, then measure the gap between the line and the edge of your tyre...

When i did this i'm sure it looked like you could get away with well over 10/15mm on the fronts...

Also type "5 110 spacers" in ebay, good selection there but twice price, the black ones that come up look mint (but no bolts) - didn't come up in my search just now but i'll try find a link

I can't believe that the eBay aluminium ones are £11 for 4..

I will measure mine later with a drop line, purely out of curiosity, but as I have said, I am only contemplating doing this to see what it looks like and to see if it makes any difference! For £11, I can't really go wrong!

With regards to the ones on motorsport world, I would rather not put steel ones on due to corrosion and the weight, that much I do know!

Cheers for the reply though Lee!
