    Default Removing Steering wheel buttons

    Hi guys. Converting the rest of my dash today but how do i remove the steering wheel buttons? do the clusters just pop off or has it something to do with the 2 holes on the back of the wheel?

    There is a torx screw on the back of the steering wheel.
    They are a real pain to get back on!!
    I had to remove my air bag to get them back on!!

    You forgot to mention how often the horn went off (every 3 seconds). Neighbours not happy! LOL

    Does it create any errors removing these buttons as i have lost them with the changed stereo

    No errors. i'm currently driving round with them off as i've got the wrong LEDs for them. Gonna pick some up thurs.

    What leds are in the s/wheel units then? thought they were plcc-2 3528?

    not sure what they are but they're 3mm round not smd. BTW mine are buttons not scrollers, not sure weather they're different.
