Car Jumping When Accelerating

My first post so hello

I've just upgraded from a Vectra B DTi SRi to a Vectra C DTi Sri and I'm a bit concerned by a problem I've just noticed.

When I accelerate in 1st, 2nd and 3rd I seem to get a bit of a jolt that seems to be coming from the front end. The only way I can think to describe it is that its like the engine is rocking back as I accelerate. The car is running fine, no lag or misfiring and you don't really notice it in 4th or 5th.

Is this quite a big fix? Just had to shell out over 300 notes for my Fiesta and don't really fancy paying a fortune to get this one fixed

i dont thing they that expensive to be honest mate that is if thats the prob have you any fault lights flashing up

No faults lights at all mate, all is good except that!

Maybe also worth mentioning that I can also feel the jolt through the gear stick. Nothing violent, just the movement.

possibly a dmf clutch or gear box problem
