depends on the age,.. my 08 150 SRI CDTi has had no issues whatsoever in over 50,000 miles. Some of the early ones do have some probs apparently which will be commented soon I'm sure
One of the intercooler hoses split on my 58 plate but other than that, nothing in 50k also.

Same as Chewy71 with mine. Manual gearbox you can get probs with DualMassFlywheel, others have had faults with ExhaustGasRrecirculating valve getting crudded up, Swirl valve rod coming off, and diesel ParticulateFilter (where fitted) not regenerating.
The 57 onwards ones had better inlet manifold and software to sort EGR and Swirl valve, not many have dPF but seems it's mostly continual stop/start driving kills them. Funny, been over to Grantham today discussing this stuff with the husband of one of my wife's friends.
I take it this is the same engine in the 150ps CDTI Signum? I've been looking at a Signum but have been scared off by the comments about high bills and unreliability, but I love the drive and feel of the Signum..
thats great il pass it all on thanks fellas
swirl valve chamber inlet manifold....bar breaks off causing car to lose power at around 2000-3000 rpm!
swirl valve control arm usually fails after that aswell.
egr valves common to fail.
split hoses!
turbo failure...
buy something else... lol
haha yeah its to late now hes already bought it, thanks fella
probably regret this, 08 1.9(150) no probs far
