Default Tyre and wheel selection question

Ok so I have a set of wheels that I will be putting up for sale soon. Now the question is this:- would the make of tyre put you off buying?

If they were priced right for the make?

What I am wondering is do I stick a set of budgets on and advertise for say £700? or better tyres and ask for say £800? Would it matter that much if they were all brand new?

OR fit the part worn ones from my own and buy myself new ones and advertise for say £650ish????

    Any opinion welcome

But would tyres - falken 452's with about 4mm - put people off as they don't have much life in them? Or are they better than new fullruns etc?

A lot of people do not know the difference between tyre brands. If they are ebay bound, stick some budget tyres on and advertise the fact there are 4 new tyres.

If they are going on here, maybe give the buyer the choice?

If it was me, I would prefer the new tyres, even if they were budget. Peace of mind with new tyres as opposed to used ones where I do not know their history.

Remove the tyres and sell individually & then sell the wheels as is then the buyer may buy both and you can maybe make more cash.

    True, that would look good.

People don't like buying wheels with no tyres as they then need to buy rubber! Well, unless they want a bargain.

If it was me, I'd list as they are, why spend more money, even on budget tyres?

Because people don't want to spend money on just the wheels as they will have to but rubber too. Hmmm have I said that before???

They worry it will cost £400 for tyres as well as £500 for the wheels. Believe me, I have tried.
