Tyre Help

I only bought my vectra (its a 55plate SRI CDTI) about 3 months ago. I choose this particular car rather than other i was looking at as it had the Vauxhall 19inch alloys and ex pack.
I noticed that the car had 4 brand new tyres which i found strange and even asked the garage about it but they said it was most probably part ex'd with tyres under the legal tread so they had changed them.
Anyway, the tyres are fullrun's and i've found them awful to be honest. The noise and grip levels are very worrying. Then yesterday one blew out on me at 80ish mph and when i've checked the others they are all cracking.

The size of the fullrun tyres that are on are 245/35/19 but when i've checked on certain websites the size that comes up for my car is 235/35/19. Does anyone know what they should be? Does anyone know any good tyre recommendations?

yes 235/35/19 is ok they should be say xl though extra load tyres my friend had the same prob soons has he had xl tyres fitted no more poping

You could argue that the sales outlet supplied a car of unroadworthy condition, as the tyres are wrong size

It is possible that on receiving the car that indeed all four tyres were below minimum tread or that in order to pass its most recent MoT that four cheap tyres were fitted, without regard to the correct size

You may be able to negotiate with the sales outlet to recompense for four new tyres of the correct size
Otherwise, just bite the bullet and buy the anyway
Ideally go for at least 91W XL on 235/35R19, or 91Y as an alternative

As they wear and in order to reduce tram lining, swap rear to front as they wear

My 19's were factory fitted with 235/35/19 9IY XL.
