    Angry Painting Calipers

Removed rear offside wheel no probs, gave caliper a rub with some sandpaper painted on nice blue paint, put wheel back on, now for front offside, loosened all bolts apart from locking nut, bolts on this wheel were a lot tighter more than the 110 nm it should be, put key in locking not and turned only for the key to spin slightly and then got no purchace on it removed key and it has been disformed and no longer fits into bolt so one caliper done 3 to go , have the key code so will go to garage tommorrow and get a new key any idea how much it will cost, why is simple things so difficult to do on a vectra it's never easy. Suppose it coould have been a lot worse and the key could have jammed in the bold like i've seen on previous posts.

All dealer prices differ for some reason but when i had to get one it was between £30-£40, same price as a complete new set of lockers.

had a malformed one a few weeks ago... As a last ditch attempt get it to fit albeit with a tool of persuasion and then get a windy gun on it... Worked for me...

dont want to mangle the bolt and end up with an even bigger job, anyone in the glasow area with a 185 key willing to help, will travel (not too far)further if needed, hate half finished jobs.
