    Default Bk999 18" Alloys

I have seen these as a replacement for my badly corroded sri alloys,

On eBay they are going for £575 with tyres,

What tyre size would I need and they come with fitting kit etc ..... So hopefully nothing else required ...... Is this a good deal?

225/45 18 or 235/40 18's are the correct size I think. Sounds like a good price to me tbh. Id imagine even cheap tyres would be £80-90 a corner alone in those sizes. Id ask what kind they are and maybe they can offer you a better quality tyre for a few quid more.

I am sorely tempted by them too. Only a real purist would know they are not original VXR's but IMO, they look good and are a good price.

The tyres thy come with are the right size - 225/40 18 and the fitting kit would just be some spigot rings which would probably be needed.

I could refurb the alloys but with cost and upcoming tyre replacment i'm coming in around the same price.

I'll give BK racing a bell and see what they can do

I got the same and they came with 225/40 - they are the closest match to the original dia. to ensure the speedo is correct.

nt5000's that Dez recomends only come out at about £80 a corner, great price.

No they are not! 235/40/18 are much closer and VX use 225/45/18!

People - including myself - used 225/40 as they are much cheaper, but still suitable.

    very strange....

my original sizes were 215/45/17 when running std gsi alloys.

    used this - http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html

and 225/40/18 are the closest match.
