Need some guys advice......

Tell me if im blowing it out of proportion. Feb 2009 i got a call while working in london from the missus, to which she told me to sit down and proceeded to say that shes pregnant, fantastic i thought, over the moon. End of november Joshua was born and things have been excellent since then apart from one thing, now i know things in the bedroom generally get put on the back burner when children come along but im begining to wonder if she still finds me attractive. Now my partner has never been a nympho but we used to do it way more than we do now but in the last 3 1/2 months we've probably cracked it 2 times, am i being out of line in saying this or not? Need your input please lads or lasses?

Do you still work away, does your missus get any help caring for your son all day? Its hard work, i'ver looked after my daughter for the odd day any they knacker you out, your missus is probably every day like that

I work monday to friday 7 - 5 , so im home every night but the job is also very stressful but i still try to work hard to keep the fire alight but it just doesnt seem to work, my partners mum comes over once a week to help and i would say im a very good dad, bath him every night, change the curry nappies, take turns on doing the feeds and i get up in the early hours for those feeds, the lads at work ask me why im gettin up at silly hour to do feeds when im due in work at 7 and the partner can kip during the day whereas i cant. But i do it because its a partnership meaning equal responsibility and not to mention i love my boy to absolute pieces. I just think that if we let things slip with our relationship it'll only end up one way which i wont let happen.

I thought that was the norm after a certain time with the same partner.

Don't worry about it dude. It's sort of the standing joke that 'it all stops after kids' but just give it time. I'd be tempted to say she'll be 'wary' of it as the whole biology of a woman changes after childbirth. just give it time.

I now have a 2yr old. She was obviously tiring/ hard work at first but as they get older just ship them off to Grandma's of a weekend and you'll be able to get some modding done too!!!

I know it may be the wrong way to go but i almost feel like sayin eventually when she asks for it i keep sayin im not in the mood just so she knows how it feels but i know that wont achieve ****** all, i guess its just mens sex drives will always be higher than womens.....

If that was right i'd be screwed - i've been married 14yrs and have 5 boys

Just give her time - it's hard work but gets easier as they get older, things will get back to normal............................eventually

I felt the same when my litle one was born who is now 2 and stil feel the same. Its ****** hard work having a child amongst other things and keeping the spark there, but i just think to myself if you love each other then things should be fine.
