    Default What pads for polisher?

    what 'extra' pads and type do I need for a das 6 polisher.. just managed to get a bargain on one but its just the polisher with no pads..
    where is best and which ones do I require for a das 6??..

    get on detailing world and have a look , also mark autobrite on here does pads and you get a discount for being a member on here or detailing world .most off the places on detailing world have a discount code ,, khalid

    just wondering what i need..backing plates?? velcro pads etc etc..
    just after any advice from people who have one, on the stuff I need
    as I'm confused as hell!

    Lots to choose from, personal choice really. Sonus are widely used, I've gone for Hexalogic, weather permitting I'll find out tomorrow what they're like. CYC have a detailing forum (similar to detailing world) as well as the shop. Autobrite on the approved supplier list as well.

    Yes, you do need backing plates, should have at least one with the das 6. Several sizes, 4 inch for small spots, 5.5 to 6.5 I think, for bigger areas.
    Most velcro on.

    ive got the da6 ,when i got it it came with the meguires 6in pads .i also bought from autobrite some off his orange pads as they are a bit frimer which is good for the da 6. ive also got a 4in backing plate and a couple off light /polishing pads for small places on the car .as i /grump1954 said have a look on dw and some times they have specials on pads . khalid

    I use Hex Logic pads they are very good, there is also a group buy on Detailing world could save you some money
