Unlocking a Nokia N97

Heres one for ya. Not been able to find a cost free solution yet. My Nokia N97 has come to the end of its contract with T-mobile and I've got a HTC Desire HD now I'm trying to unlock the phone from the network (not illegal in any way shape or form btw) to make it more appealing for when I sell it.

Unlocking = opening to all networks
unblocking = * IS ILLEGAL* once blocked due to being stolen (which is not what I'm asking about)

Other than giving some of my hard earnt to these unlocking site anyone had experience of doing this with the N97?

I bought one of these on the 09/12/10 and not received it yet,orange want £25 to unlock mine(Nokia 6303 classic) and they are the only people that can do it,talk about free market my asss.

thanks for the replies so far, not seen that ebay device before.... but will look into that. Gonna give T-Mobile a call next week and see if they'll unlock it for free seeing as I've signed up for another 2yr contract with them.

I've got that, works a treat, althought it's a bit fiddly to instal if the SIM holder is a tight fit.
