Looking at a 53 reg SRi DTi!

Hi guys! 1st time poster here but hoping to become a regular!

The missus crashed my 406 Coupe (3.0 V6!) and is now a insurance write off.

To compromise looks with ecomony i'm looking for a SRi DTi Vectra.

I have lined up a viewing on a 53 plate one with 75k on. Its a decent price but i don't know much about them.

Thats why i'm here!

If you have any comments about what to look for they wil be greatly appreciated and yes, i will use the 'search' function now.

im on my 3rd 2.2 dti and they are a great car and well finished for the money

Only the Signum 3.0 had the DTi badge in early 2003...The SRi's will have V6CDTi

Now you've got me worried - I don't even have my missus insured!

Sorry, must be the whisky, tough about the car, but a Vec will be fine.
I'd recommend a cdti like mine but I'm sure it'd get a deluge of posts. Can't think why - it's a great performer!

Its a 2.2 Dti Sri.

Been reading a few posts n warranty insurance seems a good idea! Its the good one/bad one thing that has me worried.

Loved the Coupe to bits! Is a 3.0 V6 flying machine. Just needs a new fornt end!

Be cheaper to replace the girlfriend than the car! LOL!
